Kori Alexandar's 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340

Click here to see Kori's Duster 340.

This is a 1970 Dodge Dart "Swinger 340" which was built on Wednesday, June 24, 1970 and now has close to 86,000 original miles. We are the third owners, having purchased the car in June 1988 for $600 and just completed a full "bare shell" restoration in time to show it at the sixth annual Red Deer Mopar meet (August 5th, 1989) in which it won first place in its class.

This is an original FM3 - Panther Pink car which was a special order, extra cost ($15.70) optional high-impact paint that was supposedly only offered three or four months in 1970. It's also a well optioned car with over 25 factory options as proved by the original dealer invoice, three broadcast sheets and the fender tag. Some options include: 4 speed manual transmission - $219.20, 3.23 sure grip rear end - $50.25, factory tach - $57.65, power disc brakes - $48.45, white vinyl roof - $100, and AM radio - $81.85, to name a few. The total cost of this vehicle was $4153.85.
